We’ve been making Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon since our inaugural vintage in 1997. For our REININGER label, we commonly source Cabernet Sauvignon from Pepper Bridge, Seven Hills and XL Vineyards. The 2014 vintage scored 93 points from Wine & Spirits and was included in their 2017 “Year’s Best USA Cabernet Sauvignon.”

Tasting Note

"Our 2014 REININGER Cabernet Sauvignon displays a touch of Old World attitude indicative of Walla Walla. Fleshy steak tartar aromas are the first to jump from the glass followed by intense black currant, dried prune and overripe plum seasoned with savory wood notes of oregano, rolling tobacco and pencil shavings. A soft, dry silky texture with very fine tannins delivers dark fruit flavors of black currant, black raspberry and fig. There’s an underlying umami hue that is whisked in with hints of vanilla extract, dark chocolate and espresso." ~Chuck Reininger, Winemaker
